Avent Baby food steamer and blender is a dual function appliance.The product is quite a bit of splurge but is an amazing product.I bought this after reading several positive reviews on the internet and I do agree with all those reviewers.
You can steam the baby food and also blend it in a single unit,you just have to flip the jar, wow isn’t it cool? Hence no transferring of food here and there.It cooks the veggies perfectly and blends it very well.You can get the desired consistency in seconds.I would say the BEST blender to puree the food.The appliance does not take a lot of room on your kitchen counter which I appreciate.
I would not say this is a must have, but it makes baby food preparation a lot easier and mess free especially when you have a crying baby who wants to be held and its time for her snack or lunch. I like to keep separate utensils for the baby (I am sure every mamma does that), so having a separate blender is a good idea.The same jar can be used to steam as well as blend the food hence less utensils to wash.
Even though the parts of the jar are separable, its difficult to wash them and the lid gets discoloured.Otherwise everything looks okay to me.
