Shoes play an important role in the development of tiny feet. I believe that it is important to buy a comfortable pair of walker/toddler shoes. Here are a few of my favourite brands that make cute and comfy shoes for the tiny feet.
Baby/ Pre-walker
Crib shoes are the cutest shoes on this planet. They look so adorable on the tiny feet. Even though babies/pre-walker do not walk and stand for a long time, its important that their shoes be soft and comfortable. It has to be as good as walking barefoot.
1.Freshly picked moccasins
Leather moccasins are the perfect shoes that babies can use which is as good as barefoot walking with a little protection cover for the feet. I love the Freshly picked moccasins, it is handmade and they have a wide range of colors to choose from. The downside is that since these are genuine leather they can get really expensive.
2.Gymboree
Gymboree has a good collection of crib shoes, which are pretty comfortable and affordable. You can get a matching pair that goes with their outfits.
3.Robeez
This is another brand that makes comfortable leather shoes & boots for the littles. What I love about their brand is their sober yet elegant colors.
Walker/Toddler
1.See Kai Run
See Kai run shoes has been our favorite since our little girl has started walking. We first bought their SMALLER line which has a soft soles and instantly fell in love with these shoes. They have the perfect colors, comfortable styles that are very well made. My daughter preferred the See Kai Run shoes over all others since she was 18 months old. If anyone asks me to suggest a good pair of baby/toddler shoes then it would be this one. The best shoes out there.Our little one has several pairs of see kai run shoes and she looks really comfortable even after a whole day’s activity.
In short, its toddler approved !!
2.Converse
Sneakers become an essential pair of shoes for a toddler when they start running around and want to explore the world on their own feet. They are super comfortable and goes perfect with a pair of jeans and a tee. There are different brands that make sneakers but I love the ones from converse. They do have slip on style shoes with cute characters on them.My daughter has one with the puppy face on it and whenever she wears them she gets compliments for her shoes.
3.Livi & luca
I just came across this brand a few months ago and they have the prettiest shoes.This is another brand that makes shoes where style meets comfort.Their spring 2015 collection is awesome and has the cutest colors and styles. I wish I could buy them in all styles for my daughter, they are the loveliest. But they do have a price tag that holds you back.
4.UMI Shoes
Another company out there that makes affordable and cute shoes for boys & girls. They are super comfortable and are the best playtime shoes.This is the best choice when I don’t want to splurge but yet get her an adorable comfy pair of shoes.
5.Pediped
My daughter has not used any shoes from Pediped, but they are the award winning brand for children’s footwear. They do focus on the child’s healthy feet development and their shoes are designed accordingly. I wonder why we haven’t bought any shoes from pediped before.They do have shoes starting from newborn to teen.I love their glittery pinks and purples.My daughter will be trying out one of their shoes soon.
6.Salt water sandals by Hoy
This is our favorite summer shoes that can be worn everywhere.The have a wide range of colors to chose from with the cutest patterns.My daughter has a narrow feet and she doesn’t fit into most of the open toed sandals.But this one fits just right plus you can even wear it to the beach.Hurray! They do have shoes for children, youth and adults so,mommies can have a matching pair of sandals too.
